Background of Persatuan Kesihatan Jiwa Sabah Baru

Sabah Mental Health Association (Persatuan Kesihatan Jiwa Sabah) Baru in short (PKJS)  is a non profit association that focus mainly for the mental health members employment opportunities and job placement. 

The center open daily from Monday to Friday at 8am to 4pm.

The center provide domestic activities to the members such as :

*Cooking where they need to helps in preparing cups or plates then cuts or wash clean with the patch work. 
*Gardening where the patient do tilling or weeding
*Relaxation where the patient can watch TV/listen to radio or even singing and reads newspaper.
*Orientation where new patient will introduce himself/herself.
*Outing and outdoor activity be organized.

The center throughout the year do provide activities as follow:
*Family Day
*Visitation to the Zoo
*Public forum according to request
*Seminar center for awareness of school in rural and urban area


 
The center located at 111, Lorong Ikan Papayu, off Jalan Mat Salleh, Sembulan 88100, Kota Kinabalu.
